“As I grew up I found myself profoundly interested in creating things. Woodworking and building things was a passion and kept me busy during the relentlessly cloudy and rainy days of Ohio. Later. I worked weekends and summers doing building and landscape construction. It was during this time I learned that being a laborer was not my idea of making a great living, and creating something on paper was just as gratifying and a lot less painful. Luckily though, I learned enough to know what to put on that paper and why, and went on to landscape architecture school at Ohio State. After five and a half years, I graduated cum laude with a BS in Landscape Architecture and another in Ornamental Horticulture and took a job with EDSA in Wilmington, North Carolina. That is where I met my wife Katy. We ended up in Orlando two years later, compliments of an economic blip, but never looked back. Orlando is our home now. From here we’ve had gifted careers having being given the opportunity to collaborate on some very nice projects, with some wonderful people. After rising to partner in a large planning and landscape architecture firm I decided my best work was yet to come and couldn’t be realized there, and I joined Katy in June of 2012. Since then I’ve discovered how many friends I have in the design community. They showered us with support, made our lives wonderful, and made our business a tremendous success. Thank you all for that and we look forward to serving you all again.”
